On Friday, February 18, 2011, Dr. Daniel Ronel was tragically killed in a single-car accident in Albuquerque.  Daniel and his wife, Betsy, have been steadfast supporters of our shelter animals, particularly those who were overlooked because of age, breed or illness.  Daniel’s gentle, thoughtful advocacy will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to Betsy, their two boys, and all their furry companions.
